#ABOTW What makes you an AFROBEAUTY?
AFROBEAUTY OF THE WEEK is a new social media trend that i've been cooking up. The idea intitally started in college when i began photographing young women of color on campus showcasing diversity and beauty in order to unify us. Since that moment, i've been wanting to do more than just show people how beautiful our culture is. I wanted to write about these people and help inspire young men and women that we are worth more than what the media is tryign to portray us as. We all have stories, talents, or dreams that should be heard; this is the platform i created to do that. Don't be afraid to tag an indivudal with the hashtag #ABOTW so we can reach out to potentials to be featured. Nominate an individual on the afroculture page.
Requirements to being featured as an #ABOTW:
submit your best picture and material to promote (for those that are artist/models/bloggers)
